Read your advice of correct actions to take for a responsible “conservative” citizen.
I wonder what being concervative has to do with protecting our children and/or any person at risk. I myself am a proud liberal citizen and hope that I can advocate responsably when witnessing potential harmful / neglectful situations.
Myself, I would have interveined and personally parked myself at the car and talked with the children until the “adult” returned and then would have advised them of their lack of responsibility, gotten their name and that informed them the law will be informed. But I wonder– what if you had children that had to be picked up at school in 5 minutes? Or you were on lunch and HAD to return to work or be written up. Or just weren’t raised to be an advocate as I was.
There are too many variables in this situation to accuse someone of being ineffective because the could not respond as the perfect enforcer.
But then I’m liberal and I wonder what the hell does it mean to have ” government handle it”. Do you suggest you would have made a citizens arrest? Crazy world we’re in, ain’t it.
