Passport to Adventure”The Magic Tree House Live Reading Tour

Mary Pope Osborne’s internationally beloved and bestselling Magic Tree House series comes to life in its first-ever live character tour. Brother-sister duo Jack and Annie will arrive at Chatham Community Library in a Magic Tree House-decorated bus to bring their time traveling adventures to life. Please note that this event is on Tuesday night at 7 pm, not Monday night as advertised in the local paper.

A tribute to the magic of reading, events will involve a captivating performance by the two cast members, lively audience participation, and original songs. Children will be inspired to read and travel the world just like Jack and Annie! The performances will conclude with book stampings and photo opportunities with Jack and Annie.

This event, which is cosponsored by McIntyre’s Books of Fearrington, is free and open to the public and recommended for children ages 7 and up. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about this program, contact youth services at (919) 545-8085.
