Well, after responding to someone’s complaint about Century Link, and saying that I also had been disappointed with my service, a representative read the Chatlist and called me. After inquiring about my problems, the supervisor sent someone out today who worked for hours on the equipment down the road that services my house and got me up to speed. They were so caring about my satisfaction that I was impressed.
I believe that if you are going to bother to complain about someone, then you need to be even louder in your appreciation when you have been treated well, so I will put a few exclaimation points here !!!!!
This was another example of the fine ways the Chatlist can serve our community and I appreciate it’s networking capacity.

My 82 year old mother told me our internet service dilemma reminds her much of trying to get electricity in their rural area of Illinois in the late 40’s. She said after she married and moved away, they finally brought it to them. Here in rural Chatham County still waiting for Century link to bring us ANY internet service!
