Subject: Third Thursday Sustainable Speaker Series & Potluck 11/15/12, 6-8pm  CCCC Multipurpose Room, Building 2
Please join the Central Carolina Community College Students for Sustainability this Thursday evening from 6-8 for our Third Thursday Sustainable Speaker Series.We will meet in the multi-purpose room in building #2.
This Thursday we will start the seasonal Harvest of Thanks Celebration with a potluck and appreciation for the farm workers who work in our food industry.
Student Action with Farmworkers will be joining us to present the story of NC farrmworkers and their important role in our food system. We will hear how students have been collaborating with this community in the pursuit of fair wages, fair housing and a safe work environment.
Come at 5:00 PM and meet in front of the library if you are interested in a tour our campus green features.
No RSVP is necessary, a main dish (Local Chicken from Angelina’s) will be provided. Bring a side to share!
