DECEMBER FIRST SUNDAY SERIES
SET FOR 12.2.2012
IN PITTSBORO

The Pittsboro Merchants Association has revamped it’s First Sunday Series!!

THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO DO YOUR HOLIDAY SHOPPING AND YOU’LL BE SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES WHILE YOU DO SO!!! A WIN-WIN SITUATION!

The First Sunday series ties together local businesses, the downtown Pittsboro area, and local artists with the goal of promoting Pittsboro to local and surrounding areas!

On DECEMBER 2ND all kids tables will be free! The only rules are that the children have to make their own art/crafts themselves and they have to man their booths!! Be sure and bring your own tables as well! The kids will be in one area making it easier to browse their creations. Please email Pittsboro First Sunday if you plan to participate at !!

In addition teens and children are invited to participate in the first downtown COMMUNITY GARDEN. The garden will be located on the south side (Salisbury St.) of the RECLAMATION HOME FURNISHINGS building!! Teens and children will grow plants and herbs that can be used by local bakers and restaurants and will serve as a continual catalyst for learning about farming, working with the environment, and business.

Look for side walk chalk art drawing on Salisbury Street. Chalk will be provided by PITTSBORO TOYS. A nice selection of food trucks, local artists, and in store events will be on hand as well!!

MUSIC on the outside stage will be provided by Pittsboro’s CORTETE from 1pm-3pm! More music at The City Tap and Liquidambar Gallery and Gifts!

Other NEW ADDITIONS for Pittsboro First Sunday:
1) The Carolina Brewery Truck and Bear Creek Brewery will be serving up some of their fine products.
2) Vino!! Wine Shop will be hosting a wine tasting upstairs in their shop
3) NEW food trucks SYMPATHY FOR THE DELI and PHILLY’S CHEESESTEAKS will be joining our original cast of OLDE NORTH STATE BBQ and TRIPLE J HOMEMADE ICECREAM Food trucks!!
