Lynn provided an informative link (below) on the “voter ID controversy. I ran the complete link and find it instructive on how not to implement the voter ID laws in NC (by copying PA’s law), but it proved nothing in rebutting the principles of the need for voter ID to prevent and deter fraud.

The PA law may not be timely for this election, and the State of PA may not be able to meet the demand for Photo ID prior to, or within their post election six-day period, but as the ACLU lawyer and PA Law professor both admitted. many other states have more liberal Photo ID laws that allow persons to obtain a suitable photo ID who have difficulty in proving their origins of birth. There was absolutely no evidence provided challenging the principles of Photo ID requirement, only the method and particular law of PA; and this link showed the attempt of blatantly left leaning participants in the discussion to politicize at social problem.

I think Lynn’s link valuable in how not to implement the law in NC, rather than presenting a case against implementing the law in NC.
