Someone commented in the most recent chatlist on needing 2 chatlists–one for events, and one for negative fumes.Many of my friends no longer read the chatlist, which is a Chatham Republican venue rather than a Chatham one (for example, negative posts about Clinton get in, negative posts about Reagan are not allowed).I try to skim the chatlist for interesting events, but it’s easy to get sucked into wanting to comment on some of the more ridiculous or meanspirited chats.Personally, I would rather read about roses and rosepetals that a vitriolic attack on someone who has posted about flowers.

Has it really been been over 11 years since many of your friends stopped reading the chatlist?
The Chatham Chatlist began in 1997, eight years after Ronald Reagan left office in January 1989. Bill Clinton left office in January 2001.
I did take a look at the Chatham Chatlist archives at Goggle groups that contains about 1,110 of the last chatlists.
I searched on “Bill Clinton” and yes indeed, I found no mention of him
I searched on “Ronald Reagan” and did found one mention of him. It was by Delcinia Turner back on November 23, 2008 –

In the future, I would truly appreciate it if you could please refrain from fabricating “facts” about the Chatham Chatlist.
