Subject: Funeral arrangements have been set for Chris Hasbrouck
Christopher Hasbrouck, of Pittsboro, N.C., took part in the Mountain Man Memorial March event at the University of Tennessee in honor of fallen troops on April 20. He apparently became dehydrated and overcome by heat and was taken to UT Medical Center, where he passed away from complications on May 2.
Hasbrouck’s viewing will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 11, at Walker’s Funeral Home, 120 W. Franklin St., Chapel Hill, N.C.
The funeral is set for noon the following day at New Hope Church, 7619 Fayetteville Road, Durham, N.C.
Chris attended Perry Harrison School and Woods Charter School. He was going Appalachian State University.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to the following places in honor of Chris Hasbrouck.
