In response to Sherry’s request for a dog boarder: I recommend Companion Camp in Pittsboro. It is beautifully situated, with lots of space, they take daily long walks (not just on the roadway or parking area), have individual ‘condo’s’ that don’t stress the dog by being with tons of unfamiliar smells/faces. When our family is not available to watch our lab, we have used them often and with very positive results. www.companioncamp.net
