Terrific auction packages are now available to everyone who wants to support Carolina Tiger Rescue, a local Chatham county nonprofit. The auction is part of the Black Tie and Tails Ball being held on February 25, 2012. By being a “ghost bidder”, you can participate in the auction even if you can’t attend the event.

The Styx Package, donated by Tommy Shaw, includes a Fender Squier Bullet guitar signed by all current and former band members, 2 tickets to the 2012 public Styx concert of the winner’s choice, and a photo opportunity with the band.
Other auction items include travel packages such as a one week stay in St. Martin, a Litchfield beach vacation in the Outer Banks, and a North Carolina fall color package; sports packages and memorabilia from NASCAR, the Hurricanes, UNC, and more; and special adventures such as a “Moonlight and Wine” package with the Carolina Tiger Rescue tigers, and a cooking class with Chef Arthur Gordon. The auctions also include jewelry, historic documents, art and more.
You can still bid on packages and get tickets for the best party of the year! Carnivale, our annual Black Tie and Tails Ball, will be held on February 25, 2012 at Washington Duke Inn in Durham.
