Subject: 3 Time Purple Heart Vietnam Veteran to Speak at Biker Sunday at Siler City PHC
Siler City PHC Hard C.O.R.E Motorcycle Ministry is having their annual Benefit Ride for the Kids and Biker Sunday Nov. 20th.
*Benefit Ride*:
Registration Fee $15.00 per bike and $5.00 for rider with proceeds going to Falcon Children’s Home
Registration time 9:30am – 12:00 noon
BBQ lunch will be provided for all registered riders after service at apprx. 12:15pm
Kick Stands up at 1:00pm
Prize giveaways with grand prize giveaway of *$200.00 cash*
*Biker Service with Speaker Sgt. Steve “Rock” Walker* begins at 10:45am
Sgt. Steve “Rock” Walker served in the US Army with two tours in Vietnam 1968-1969. He was awarded three Purple Hearts and has been in ministry for 20 years, working with veterans, wounded veterans and veterans who are incarcerated. He worked on Death Row in the Arizona prison system before moving to Texas. He currently
ministers in the Texas prison systems as a mentor, preaching at three different units.
