Subject: gas station warning
I wanted to let everyone know that the gas station on the traffic circle in Pittsboro (forget the name) has at least one pump that fails to turn off automatically.
I went yesterday, and after spilling about 3 gallons of gas on my car and all over the ground, I went to tell the person in the store what had happened. Her response was “Again?” I mentioned that she might want to turn the pump off, but she claimed it “sometimes happens when the customer doesn’t put the pump into the tank far enough.” Ok. So, I guess this customer who is perfectly capable of putting the pump into the tank at every other station will not be able to buy gas at that one any more.
