Okay, I have always enjoyed the General Store…have put up with a little change here and there…I’m rollable.
BUT, the past two times I’ve been (both in the past 10 days) have been crappy. Went for brunch today (Sunday). Had to ask for oj twice, had to ask for coffee refills EVERY time we needed coffee, had to ask for jelly 3 times, told server we wanted one check…two checks came….came back with credit card to be signed….no pen. Asked for biscuits (well, actually asked for scones…on the menu…..but were told no scones were made today…..out of ingredients….if you can make biscuits and turnovers you have ingredients to make scones…..) and while we didn’t mind the $1.25 charge for one biscuit….we DID mind the COLD biscuits delivered. Had to ask they be nuked.
I have several friends who have completely stopped going to the GSC…..now I’m beginning to think I’m one of them.
Come on guys….if you’re worried about bankruptcy, maybe you’d better concentrate on service.
Just sayin’
