Thanks Robin for the generous post regarding the “Twas the Morning” poem.  Female Rangers Rock!!  I may be good at expressing in poetry, however, I could not even spell Mr. John Dykers name correctly in my post to him earlier.  Forgive me.  So you see I am not so brilliant.

Who I do consider brilliant are folks like the Edwards family who have housed more than 40 foster children in Chatham County and even adopted one special needs boy.  What a cutie he is in his wheelchair.  They came last weekend with a team of friends and rescued two goats left behind, afraid and running wild in a pasture because their owner died.  She plans to breed and milk them to make goat cheese for her family.  Brilliant is the star that shines over that family in North Chatham!!

Brilliant too is Tammy at the Natural Pet Health Store off Hwy. 902 in Bear Creek.  She has struggled over many a hurdle to help her neighbor with animal rescues, and makes food available in the county for our pets that is a cut above the average grocery store brands, not to mention other healing products for the critters special needs.  She is a thinker and thinks with her heart.  Now that is brilliant!!

And then there are those who have no children, or perhaps who do not own a store who contribute to our community each day in their own simple “brilliant” way.  They know who they are; some are even afraid to post on the Chatlist with their real names for fear of reprisal from some politician or government employee.  They just want to be a good neighbor and live and let live in peace.  We are all a part of the web, writing spiders and all, all connected.  Our shortcomings and our brilliance are what makes us human and need each other.  Bravo to those brilliant silent ones!!

Hey!  Gonna fire up some Christmas lights with those solar panels, Mr. Dykers?  Cool!!
