Have you been feeling sad, depressed, or “down in the dumps”? Depression is a very common medical illness among older adults – but it’s NOT a normal part of aging. Help and treatment are available. Screenings will include a simple test that is private and confidential. You will receive educational information on depression or other mental illnesses and if necessary learn where to go for additional help. Program and screenings will be provided by Dr. Mary Lynn Piven, UNC Nursing School.
