Subject: question about washer/dryer connections
I bought a new washer and dryer at Lowes. They arrived yesterday but because I live in a mobile home, Lowes people were unable to change the transition duct. I’m nervous that the old one might have a lot of lint in it since it’s been in use for SIXTEEN YEARS!
They told me I could hire a handyman to replace that. The other thing is, when they tried to remove the hoses to install new ones for the washer, the old ones would NOT come off from the faucets!! So I need someone to find a way to replace those hoses with the new ones they gave me without breaking the existing faucets.
Lowes was concerned that they would damage something if they tried any harder. They said something about a small butane torch? They were able to hook everything up and it’s all usable but I need these things taken care of ASAP. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who could do these things for me without causing damage?
Thanks!Anne
