Thanks everyone for passing along the DOT phone numbers for the local district. I tried finding the number via the NCDOT website, and to be honest, I found a LOT of different phone numbers with no idea of which one I should actually call. So for those who may need them in the future, like me, here are the numbers that my fellow Chathamites have shared:
