Subject: verizon wireless coverage
Has anyone else had a problem with dropped calls while your cell phone has two and three signal bars? My husband and I have had this problem for the past couple of months. We live off Pittsboro Goldston road.
Verizon told us to be able to figure what’s going on see if anyone else is having the same problem and also every time you drop a call press # # # then send, and do this eight to ten times. That will show Verizon how many times people are dropping calls with good signal. Verizon needs to know how often this happens and to how many people so they can figure out how to fix it. Oh and the 228 option 2 never worked for me or my husband phone.
Our Verizon coverage has gotten so bad also in the past couple of months. Low signal inside house, dead coverage areas outdoors at our house, and dropped calls even with 203 bars. We have a regular cell only phone and inexpensive no contract plan, but if they don’t want to service their lower end customers, they should let us know. Some startup companies would be glad to have us…
Same problem. Call drops but phone shows call is still connected. They sent me a new phone, it drops calls too. Shows three to four bars and drops the call! Paying way too much money for an unreliable phone service. They extended the contract when the new phone was sent so it would be expensive to cancel it.
Since September 2011 to mid oct 2011 I have had horrib le service from Verizon at my home – inside and in the outside surrounding my home. I often cannot get a connection to make a call and often have dropped calls. All recent events – in the past approx 4+ years, while the signal has not been strong it has most often worked. I have now been told twice that the problem is with the verizon tower and that it is overloaded. As I result of verizon’s increased business, I get significantly lower service. A $250 femtocell has been recommended as my solution, even with a slight discount. I just don’t understand why I must pay MORE to resolve a service issue that Verizon says is their cell tower being overloaded.
Anyone else having this problem??
I have be are told to shut off my phone each day for a few minutes so it can reboot. They had a number for me to dial so as to upgrade my cell tower access. All has not worked/ My contract is up so I may just walk. No one will admit they have a problem, it is always my phone and my problem. Customer no service is doing what they told to tell us. Really poor service.
