” Unbelievable that any merchant would knowingly allow gas or diesel engine exhaust fumes to be discharged near their coffee van. This is very inconsiderate of customers enthusiastic of their excellent coffee and unnecessary as  they can use any available nearby electrical drop.
I wouldn’t get within 500 feet of those fumes.”

I guess Lawrence was too indignant to have read Tina Meek’s note about the Shot of Spro van –

“We use propane to run our business, yes, and it is one the cleanest smelling fuels you can burn. If I built the van myself, I may have gone another route, but I purchased the vehicle as it was. Once the generator dies, I do plan on taking another route to lessen the noise, which is far less noiser than most generators since it is encased. ”
“I had inquired about using the electricity back when I first applied in September 2009 and the coordinator said they didn’t have access or permission to use it from the Town (we have an electrical box right next to us at 1st Sunday). If you have strings you can pull to get us electricity for those 4 hours, please feel free to help. It would sure save us money as well because it costs us $4.50 per hour to run our generator. It would only cost $0.50 for the entire 4 hours in electricity.”

Boy! Was Lawrence off base and just plain wrong.

What’s more, it looks like our good buddy Lawrence doesn’t even live in Chatham County. He’s up somewhere in the Chapel Hill/ Carrboro area

Hold your breath – Lawrence owns the organic Venaura Farm.

Wonder how much that manure smells on a warm day when the wind is blowing?

Guess he isn’t drinking any coffee at those times.

This seems very inconsiderate of customer’s enthusiastic for organic products. I wouldn’t get within 500 feet of that farm.

When can we see that public apology Lawrence?
