Subject: Reconfiguration to save money?

This is straight from the presentation for reorganization to be given monday night. Priced a new Gym lately or parking at $100.00 per space? How about renovating bathrooms or a new science labs? And the savings are not even going to come up to the 650,000 dollars claimed as the reason to do this. a new gym could be 1.5-2 million dollars.

We just built a 6000 sf metal community center in silk hope and it cost 1 million dollars. There are no savings. It will cost us more!

“First, there are savings to be realized from reconfiguring. The total savings is not as much as initially estimated due to the need to equitably distribute educational or specialty services in grades K-12.” Logan

• Conversion of K-5 restrooms
*These capital costs can not be included in the CCS operating budget and would therefore have no impact on balancing the operating budget.” Logan
