Subject: Bats in the attic
Once a small squirrel got into the attic of my house. It came in because a fascia board’s end had pulled away and opened up just enough of a hole for it to get in. Drove me crazy running around up there as I was trying to sleep. Don’t know where I got this advice, but what I did was throw a bunch of moth balls up there. The odor ran the squirrel away, then I repaired the entry hole. Eventually the moth balls just evaporate away, no need to remove them. Stands to reason that this might work for bats also.
