Want to spend 2 weeks in Provence, France, this summer? We are two moms of juniors at Woods Charter School and are running two concurrent small group tours in France in June (6/19-7/3), one for teens of high school age and one for women. Accommodation, in shared, twin rooms, is in a fabulous 17th century manor house and separate guest house, with a
pool, close to the charming village of Gordes. Each tour will have separate accommodation, transportation and itinerary. We are not a tour company, just two moms who love France.

Teens: Our itinerary will be both fun and educational and will include day trips to such famous places as Avignon, Arles and Aix as well as the beaches of the Cote-d’Azur. The students will have the opportunity to explore the art, history, local artisans, village markets and famous Provençal cooking of this area in a structured, safe environment. We
believe this journey will have a lasting impact on participants creating broader minds and a more mature worldview. Cost: $2000 (does not include airfare or trip/cancellation insurance. For details see www.positivespiral.net/provence/teens.htm

Women: The stay will provide plenty of opportunity to do what you love best-whether it is shopping in the local markets, exploring the region’s wineries, hiking, checking out the Mediterranean beaches on the Cote d’Azur, or visiting the workshops of local artisans. You will also have time to just read and relax by the pool. If you are an artist, bring your paints or charcoals – and be prepared to fall in love with the lavender-filled landscapes that have inspired generations of painters and poets. Cost: $2500 (does not include airfare or trip/cancellation insurance) See www.positivespiral.net/provence/womens.htm

We originally only promoted this through Woods, but now are seeking a wider audience. There are 5 spaces left in total – for either 2 teens and 3 women, or 4 teens and 1 woman, depending on the demand.
