Some folks are being droped from the Chatham Chatlist because of bouncebacks. Most are legit, but occasionally someone gets dropped accidentally.

There are soft and hard bouncebacks –

– *Soft Bounce:* Soft bounces basically mean the email was sent to the server, processed, but for some reason was returned. Common reasons include: “user over quota,” and “server temporarily unavailable.”

– *Hard Bounce:* A hard bounce basically means the email was sent, and the recipient’s server outright rejected it. Common reasons include: “Account does not exist,” and “domain does not exist.”

Bouncebacks are cleared from the chatlist automatically. Hard bounces are removed immediately. If a soft bounce occurs 5 times in a row the member is removed from the Chatham Chatlist as a hard bounce.

I cannot add you back to the chatlist. You have to resubscribe yourself by filling out the registration form at http://eepurl.com/drve
