a few years ago I had the odd experience of receiving a very large, empty box from the post office. It was intact with tape and everything; and was not smashed in the slightest. It should have had several of my college books in it, but, it didn’t. Not even one. When I spoke to the Postmaster in Greensboro I was told that my sister had paid for the *box* to arrive but “postage does not cover the contents.” That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Sums up why the Greensboro hub has so many problems and explains why so many people just use FEDEX or UPS instead.
