Bigger shame is the lack of interest from the parenting public

Mia,

That’s really sad to hear.  So when or if there are changes or problems in the system that parents don’t agree with, I don’t see how they can complain if no one is involved.  Things have changed.  Used to be there was always a presentation of some sort by the hosting school.  A brag list or a list of needs and concerns was presented by the PTSA.

Maybe this means that things are running so smoothly now under the new administration that folks are satisfied and comfortable enough to leave the decision making completely in someone else hands.  And then of course, we have you, who imho should be sitting on the board.  Thanks for always getting the information out the the public.

I did get a response from Ms. Russell about the financial savings motivating this change.  I guess the bigger shame is not the changing of the meetings, but the lack of interest from the parenting public.

Thanks,

Meg
