What is this, Yahoo Groups or something? For those who don’t understand my sarcasm, it’s very common for Yahoo Groups discussions to be infested by posts promoting other groups covering basically the same subject. It seems many people are more interested in building a group than discussing the subject at hand.
We’ve already got this very successful Chatlist and a well designed set of forums at http://chatham-county-nc.com/bulletinboard . Other than showing that you can build a set of redundant resources, what’s the point of such duplication? Gene has done a great job building ways for us to communicate. I say let’s support his efforts and stick with what we’ve got rather than diluting the discussions every time someone thinks they can build a better mouse trap!
