Subject: Insider’s knowledge of Chatham
There are many posts and BB entries about who does what in Chatham, what the Sheriff’s department is doing about this and that, what’s happening to agriculture, the impact of the Hispanic population on County services, etc. More often than not, the posts are asking for information.
Everyone has a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes in public safety, local government, health and human services, agriculture, economic development and other areas, and gain an insider’s knowledge of Chatham County.
The program that the Chamber (CCUCC) is offering is first rate. The events are well planned and the many farmers, service providers, business owners and employees who participate welcome the opportunity to have the public come in and take a look around, ask questions and give feedback.
Leadership Chatham is for everyone who is interested in our economy, interested in education, interested in sustainability, interested in quality of life. It’s an opportunity to spend nine days out of one year behind the scenes. Sign up. Participate. It’s a very good investment.
