Subject: Reply to Bill Prentice’s post on the PTA thrift store boxes.
Once the items have been dropped off at the boxes they are the property of the Thrift Store and anyone removing the items except for those that take the items to the store are in effect stealing from the store.
I would recommend to anyone that witnesses the same type of action that Bill did to get the tag number and notify the police immediately. That individual who took the items actually stole from every student in the county since the proceeds from the thrift store goes to the schools to buy supplies that are not in the budget.
She was also teaching those that were with her to steal. I hope she is a reader of the chatlist and reads this.
Shame on you.
