Subject: Why I support Sally Kost
As a taxpayer, I want a county commissioner experienced in creating lean county budgets based on careful priorities and long-range forecasting. Sally Kost has that experience.
As a citizen, I want a county commissioner who understands — really understands! — that the well-being of our community and the fiscal health of county government require balanced and sustainable growth. Sally Kost’s career in county budgeting and her exemplary service as chair of our planning board have given her that understanding.
As a Democrat, I want a county commissioner for whom openness and responsiveness are core values rather than empty campaign rhetoric. I know that those are Sally Kost’s core values; she has lived and breathed them through her service to our county.
I am pleased to support Sally Kost for Chatham County Commissioner.
