Last night’s benefit for the Abundance Foundation and the New Chatham County Library headquarters was great fun, informative and exciting. It was so good to talk to all those folks that are working so hard to make this incredible effort happen. The plans look terrific, especially the potential waste water treatment plan. CCCC is already something special but the new library and classrooms are going to make it even better.Keep your ears peeled for news of Library benefits. This will cost money so the community will be asked to donate. This is a good project and directly benefits the citizens of Chatham County. You have got to see these plans and hear what the Abundance Foundation and The Friends of the Library are doing to make our great town even
greater.

I am also wanting a theater where a set can be built and left up for weeks while actors practice, a theater that is not the same temperature as the outdoors, a theater with seats, a theater where kids of all ages can come and see dramatic productions, perform themselves, a theater where we can all get together and grow together, to celebrate, to get up and speak.

OK, OK, Library first. But what if we could have both?
