I live in North Chatham. Over the weekend I spoke with a person polling about Chatham County’s “direction”.

The first question was “Is Chatham County going the right way?” “Well”, I replied, “in what context?” and the poller said “Just overall”.

I thought that was a strange start to the poll, and told him it was a poorly defined question that did not have a substantial yes or no answer.

I asked “What issue was the focus of the poll?”

He said “Sorry to bother you” and hung up.

Who? What? Why?

How do you respond to a call like that?
