Subject: Pint night
Had my first pint (or two) at the Brewery. It was truly the nectar of the gods. The place was packed. I felt like I was in the big city. Some customers seemed determined to “fight” for there “rights” as a customer, looking grim and angry (maybe just hungry) while they waited for a table. We call that hangry at our house, when you are so hungry you become irritable and angry.
My pints were memorable and the service above board. It was loud but with that crowded bar kind of loud. My school cafeteria is ten times louder (and you can’t even get beer there!). I ordered something I ended up not liking but the waitress offered to get me something else. I declined the offer but appreciated the sentiment. I know plenty of places where my enjoyment of their products is actually secondary and where the proprietors would laugh at me for making a poor choice.
My children really enjoyed the food, fortunately we hung out with some friends in the bar while waiting for a seat (they even bought those first pints). Thanks Lyle.
You know, with that much business, the brewery really doesn’t have to worry about a few cranky customers. But they do seem to have the business sense to respond to complaints in an effective manner. I plan to return again and again.
Well done Carolina Brewery. One more choice for food and fun.
