Subject: Oakleaf Restaurant – a must!
If you haven’t heard about the new restaurant in the Chatham Mill, Oakleaf, you will, as it is off to a splendid start! We happened in there on the second night it was open and were amazed at how smoothly most everything was running.
The food was beautifully presented, tastefully prepared, locally sourced when possible, service most attentive, and the atmosphere classy but casual. Yes it is a bit pricey, but not given what they are trying to achieve. It ls a great place for a celebration or special occasion, or just when you feel like a splurge, or an excellent dinner out. Chef Brendan Cox and his staff are very excited about being here, and we, I hope, will welcome them with our patronage. They are surely filling a dining gap in Pittsboro. Bon appetit!
