The Bynum Front Porch will host a fundraiser on APRIL 27, 3-9pm. As you might know the Bynum General Store is our base for community operations. The store was built in 1934 over a creek; over the years this and the age of the building have created foundation problems. We love our store and it is the last remaining operating structure in Bynum that has survived all the changes that has threatened its’ existence; others did not survive the myriad changes following the closing of the Bynum cotton mill, the bypass of 15-501, etc.
Foundation work is very expensive and we need your help to SAVE OUR STORE (SOS)
Our previous fundraising (and continued) efforts are for scholarships and school-related projects.
Plenty of parking (watch for signs) and you can come and leave… and return again later! And remember we are a 501C if you itemize your taxes. (Just in case you want to bring your checkbook.)
