Pittsboro UMC is hosting a blood drive with The Blood Connection NEXT Sunday, February 12th from 11:30am- 4:30pm. Yes, it IS Super Bowl Sunday, but you have plenty of time to donate and still make it home to watch the game! The blood drive will be located in their Family Life Center at 71 West St, Pittsboro. The best access is off of W Chatham St.
The Blood Connection will be donating $20/blood donor to benefit the PUMC Youth Group’s summer trip to Appalachia Service Project (ASP) where they’ll be sending 5 crews to do critical home repair for families. Here’s more information about ASP and their mission: https://asphome.org/
In addition, due to current blood shortages, The Blood Connection is offering a $30 BONUS e-gift card to all donors who donate during February.
