Chatham County Commissioners Approve 2024-30 Capital Improvement Program
Why are the taxpayers shouldering 47.6 M to build a new elementary school in Chatham Park. Why are the developers not paying for this? Can someone explain this. Fed up with the ever increasing property taxes while developers get rich. And really, the commissioners botched the Pollard Middle School estimate so badly that they already need 2, 6 classroom pod expansions while Perry Harrison is underpopulated. They should straighten out the school districting before they spend more money expanding.
