Good grief! We should thank our lucky stars, each and every one of us, that we live in a country where we have a right to both offend and be offended by someone’s politics, etc.
Forgive me for saying so, but anyone who feels otherwise (because I’m scratching my head as to how thinking seems to apply here?) isn’t considering that one day they may be the one silenced about something they care deeply about in Chatham county. And then it will be too late?
We are indeed a pampered and catered-to bunch if we think such restrictions will only ever apply to “others”…here in Chatham county.
I read something, somewhere a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away from Chatham county (another nod to Gene) that said:
“True intelligence is being able to argue your opponent’s position successfully.”
How kin yoo argoo it iffen yoo don’t even heer it?? (Sorry, I do live in the SW part of our beloved county! 😉 )
