As for the beers, and having lived overseas for the majority of my 73 years, my favorites would be:
1. Wheat beer
2. Pilsner
3. Ale
In that order.

My vote is a very light pilsner or Kolsh. Maybe with flavoring inspired by the county?

I saw your post about beer possibly being brewed at the Red Moose. I would vote for a amber lager or a red ale. I find the ipa’s too bitter but there is a ton of folks that like them.
I like beer flavored beer!
