It seems I need to apologize for the tone of my post “Do you Want $15 per hour.” It was brought to my attention that someone thought it was disrespectful.
I apologize if it came across like that. I meant it to be sarcastic, but it seems there is a fine line between sarcastic and disrespectful. So, I am sorry that I used the working and tone that I did. Just a little burnt out. I tried Next Door a couple of times to no avail. There is no Pittsboro job center where you can just call and hire someone for a day. The Carrboro Jobs Corner is no longer functional, and I have tried a couple of places/businesses but it seems like my jobs are “too small” for them to be interested. That being said. Let’s start all over again! I am looking for someone to help clean – windows, baseboards, spider webs, etc. (Although some of that may be done by the time this posts). Some minor weeding and raking. Help with loading stuff for a recycling run and a Habitat for Humanity run. And some other sundry things. We will pay $15 an hour, including lunch, and also including transportation to and from if necessary. I really am a nice guy. At least 8.3 out of 10 people think so.
