Broadband internet service grants

Broadband internet service grants

North Carolina is providing $350 million in grants for areas unserved with broadband (anything lower than speeds of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload).

Those of us making do with CenturyLink DSL or worse sure could use the higher speed internet service.

Wouldn’t it be great if our County Commissioners or our state representatives at the House and Senate could work to get some of those funds applied to the rural areas of Chatham County?

See ncbroadband.gov/grants/great-grant-federal for details..
