I don’t care what you care or don’t care about . Secondly, my thinking about having covid last January through February is backed up by not one but two doctors opinions . Thirdly people like you are the real villains forcing your opinions on people’s personal health rights . The Rona madness people have like you is far more dangerous than Covid that has a 98% plus survival rate . As far as unvaccinated being responsible for more variants , I call that BS . Viruses naturally mutate irregardless of whether the masses are vaccinated or not . This is why the flue shot is a hit or miss when a lesser strand takes hold for whatever reason and the shot formulated for the dominant strand is not effective . My friend of a friend statements are more accurate than your twisting of numbers to push a narrative along you want . The covid numbers are off , why because testing is not 100% accurate .
US deaths 2020 , Heart disease 690,882 , Cancer 599601 , Covid 345323 ( 605,000 is a cumulative number over the 18 plus month course of the disease averaging 350K per year based on tests that are at best 80% accurate .) So using your logic we need to shut every fast food restaurant down and stop selling fatty foods to combat the Heart Disease pandemic and take all carcinogens out of everything and live in bubbles to fight the cancer pandemic as both cause about double the deaths of Covid .
Lastly the nurse I spoke with during my doctors appt with UNC stated she knew of no one giving an accurate antibody test at this time . I find that statement interesting if we are going for herd immunity . Someone should be doing an antibody test to determine if in fact we are trending towards herd immunity and if not why ? Currently the vaccine has been reported on ABC news from a CDC report at being about 80% effective against the original strain of covid , 60% against the delta variant and could be as low a 0% effective against the new MU strain . There are 4 current strains of covid not counting the clusters of mU in Pennsylvania. I am not nor have I ever stated I am anti vaccine . I have health issues where vaccines and I do not mix well so I tend to learn all I can about a vaccine and whether or not I should use it or not . My doctor and I have had an in depth conversation and when or if I get the vaccine it will be the Moderna and not the others . I have been up close and personal around over a dozen people with either the original strain or recently the delta . I was in the house with the kids for the full duration of their illness recently , no masks , no separation , and helped care for them .All three tested positive and Caseys covid was part of the delta outbreak at UNCG. I’m not sick and have just tested negative again . This is a fact , I feel fine . I may get it but even my doctor feels there is a possibility I have immunity but with no accurate antibody test being given we dont know. There has been no explanation as to why so many are asymptomatic , some just have mild symptoms and about 1% get fatally ill . I for one would like to know why .
