Noting several posts about speeding tickets and various ways to resolve them. I can’t offer advice but would suggest caution… what works for one person may not work for someone else. Said another way, two people may be able to get the same result in court, but the *effect* on each person’s license and, perhaps more importantly, insurance, may very well be different.
Just by way of example, two people may both be able to get a PJC (prayer for judgment continued) for a similar speeding infraction, so the result in court is the same. However, a PJC is only helpful for insurance purposes if there is not another PJC on the *policy* within the requisite time frame.
Please be careful in adopting very well intentioned courses of action proposed by others. Remember that the result in court (including any costs and fines) may be different than the result for insurance (which may affect your premium for three years). Even well intentioned court officials may not necessarily understand your situation, who else is on your policy, and the effects of various pleas.
I wish it wasn’t so complicated. Or that court outcomes and insurance outcomes were more closely aligned.
Good luck!
