Chatham backpack programs or Fuel Up programs that support food insecure children

Many schools in the area have a backpack program or Fuel Up program that supports food insecure children. They provide food for weekends and often other school breaks. Despite all of the uncertainties, these programs have been finding ways to continue their mission. I have tried to put together a list of some of the programs – there are others but I don’t know their names.

If you are interested in supporting Horton Middle School’s Fuel Up Program, please contact Jerry Lux at .

If you are interested in supporting Pittsboro Elementary, you find information on their Facebook Page or https://www.facebook.com/PandaPacks/ or you can email .

If you are interested in supporting Pollard and Northwood, please visit https://refueltogether.com/.

If you are interested in supporting Perry Harrison and Chatham Grove, please visit http://fuelupkids.ch2v.com/

Also, I think that Neighbor2Neighbor is doing a good job at supporting the county.
