BringRTTI.ORG: Huge Chatham Internet Opportunity

Greetings All,

This chatlist post serves as our formal launch for BringRTTI.Org   A local Grassroots effort to try to encourage everyone who lives on or close to 902 east of the Rocky River to apply for Randolph Fiber.

How did this all start?  Well a few weeks back it came to our attention that Randolph is about to provide services east of the Rocky River later this year. Their first service area will be Pleasant Hill Church Rd.  We were informed that once past the river RTTI can provide services further east down state road 902 to the area at and around Pittsboro Goldston Road IF there is enough demand and a business case can be met. We need a bit more than 20 households to apply for the business case to be met.

You may have noticed some signs encouraging people to apply for fiber service along this route as well www.BringRTTI.Org .  BringRTTI.Org is an informational website we have set up to help answer questions and promote this effort.   We are trying as hard as we can to get the word out because every application for Randolph fiber service counts as an interested household. Enough interested households and RTTI can justify extending the route providing great internet service to everyone along that route.

So, we are asking for the help of the Chatlist Community in the following ways.

1.   If you live on or close to 902 east of the Rocky, then please apply ASAP   at Www.RTTI.Net/Forms <http://www.rtti.net/Forms>   if you want great   fiber internet.
   1.      Also please let me know if you did so I can add you to the list we      are keeping.

2.   If you don’t live on 902 but knows someone who does, then please share this information with them and encourage them to apply.

3.   Please check out www.BringRTTI.Org <http://www.bringrtti.org>   I   personally spent several days on the website and video and would love   feedback on what we can do to improve it.

4.   If you live on or around 902 and would like a yard sign, please reach   out to me and i’ll get them to you if available.

5.   If you have ideas or would like to help in any other way, then please   do.

This is a real effort and we’ve been working with Stephanie Gee, RTTI’s marketing director for several weeks to make sure we aren’t providing bad information.  If you have questions you can reach out to Stephanie at RTTI directly.  You can also reach out to me and I’ll do what I can to answer any questions you may have.  Both of our contact information is below.
