The governor of North Carolina has issued a statewide mandatory closure of all hair and tanning salons for at a minimum of 30 days to help prevent the spread of the Covid 19 virus.

As a result of this I have to shut the doors to my salon until the virus pandemic is settled down enough for the governor to lift the mandate. It is not legal for any hairdresser to do hair for the public at their homes or
in licensed home salons at this time either, so I will look forward to seeing you all at Uppercuts Hair Studio once this is over.

Here are some tips for you to help manage your hair as it grows out a bit more during this time:
As hair gets longer on sides, try tucking it behind your ears.
On medium to long haircuts, if your bangs are driving you crazy,  try parting your hair on one side and pushing your bangs to the other side, blow drying then applying firm holding hairspray on them then keep your hands out of them to not break the hairspray bond.
On short haircuts, if you normally wear your bangs forward, try to apply gel or other hair products to the hair then brush or comb the hair back away from face and allow to dry.
If you normally color your hair try using a tinted root spray or powder you can buy at the store for covering your greys.
And last, but not least, try to not get out the scissors yourself…it could be disastrous! lol
I’ll fix you all up next time we get together, don’t  worry.  And I’ll give all my tanners some free sessions to build up your tan again. I also will have spray tanning when I reopen, so come get your tan on!!!
Stay well my friends, stay well!
Kindest regards,
Susan Lecrone
