Hi EVERYONE!

I rec’d SEVERAL private emails from Chatlisters reminding me of BOTH Walmarts.  Thanks for reminding me of ALL the shopping places in ChatCo.  Much appreciated.

And yes, after hitting “send” I remembered the shopping opps in North Chatham.  I honestly live in the southern part of ChatCo, so I try very hard to avoid the traffic lights to head North.  Needless to say, there isn’t much in my neck of the woods.  Do ya’ll know about Ray’s Supermarket?  Jordan Lake Dam Pump and Dump has really great BREAKFAST biscuits.

Bottom line, I admit, the MAJORITY  of my shopping (with the exception of food) is done in Wake Co.  Its just easier to get so much more at so many different places that are conveniently located and I can swing by on my way home from work.  So I am contributing to Wake County’s infrastructure.

I really do try very hard to support ChatCo.  I would say 90% of my shopping is done at the FoodLion. And I ALWAYS hit the Pittsboro Lowe’s HI, even if I’m working nearby another one.  I honestly haven’t shopped Walmart in FOREVER, because I had worked with the organization and can’t handle how they treat their teams.  I haven’t been to Target in quite some time.

But I love parks.  I love hiking. I loved taking my now “grown and flown†kids to playgrounds and having picnics and fishing.  I would just love that options for other families and maybe for the day I have grandkids who come visit.

But that’s OK. Vote yes, if you want. Vote no if you want. I can take take my dogs and walk any of Wake County’s parks and still enjoy my day.

AND SINCERELY, Thank you again for the reminder of BOTH Walmarts.  (I won’t be visiting either but Mia just reminded others they are out there.) It was a sad day when Pittsboro’s PigWig went out – so I will continue with FoodLion (which honestly, I like) and subsidize with the Co-op and Ray’s (for meat – really, make the trip!)  I will also buy gifts for Birthdays, weddings, new babies from the local shops downtown or from the Sunday Vendor fairs.  People always like the unique gifts I give from them.

Warm Regards, (and YES to Siler City Tractor Supply – I like that too!)
