Folks are welcome to keep submitting notices for upcoming Chatham meetings & events

Folks are welcome to continue to submit notices on any upcoming Chatham County based meetings, gatherings or musical events to the Chatham chatlist.

You must be a Chatham Chatlist to submit emails to the Chatlist. If you are not a current member, you can subscribe for free here

Most Chatham Chatlist members are smart enough and responsible enough to examine their own circumstances and access their personal risk comfort levels to determine whether they wish to attend any announced events.

You can review the Governor’s state of emergency declarations here
It appears that the Executive Orders mandate that organizers of events that draw more than 100 people cancel, postpone or modify these events or offer online streaming services.
It recommends that organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more.
You can find gathering guidelines here

I will also note that the Bynum Front Porch Music Series is due to kick off on May 1st. That is six weeks from now. You can view Martha & John announcing the music schedule during Saturday evening’s Front Porch event at https://youtu.be/P7WiqTY3fnk

I chose to attend last Saturday evening’s Bynum Front Porch event. The organizers told folks to stay home and chose to do a Facebook live stream so that folks could watch from home. I recorded the event and posted video clips on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/user/genefoto

Saturday’s live feed-stream was successful and the Front Porch non-profit will be considering doing more live steaming now and in the future.
