Subject: Chatham Co. Board of Commissioners to Hold Abbreviated March Meeting
PITTSBORO, NC – In an effort to heed Governor Roy Cooper’s recommendations for large gatherings to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Chatham County Board of Commissioners will hold an abbreviated meeting on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Agriculture and Conference Center, 1192 US64 Business W, Pittsboro. The meeting will provide a brief opportunity for public comment but we would like to ask the public to defer any public comment to the April 20, 2020 BOC meeting. At the March 16th meeting the BOC will vote on a request to continue all public hearings from the March meeting to the April 20th BOC meeting.
