*Volunteer Opportunities: *
*24/7 HelpLine Advocates* — Seeking individuals for 24-hour HelpLine to provide emotional support and information resources to callers experiencing or affected by domestic violence or sexual assault ~~ evening and weekend hours from volunteer’s home. We are asking a 1-year commitment to volunteer and completion of provided training. Advocates that complete additional training will also have opportunities for daytime/office advocacy to support walk-in clients, assist with protective orders and support in the courtroom. Training to begin in Spring 2020.
*Childcare Volunteers* — Seeking volunteers to provide childcare for two hours for one evening a week during a support group meeting in Siler City and eventually in Pittsboro. References and criminal background check required.
