I am not a jumper of the rope-
Hipping, hopping, skipping like wild
  Spending time jumping the big twine
Hot pepper,’ jump the rainbow’- no fun . .

I’m no dope, I know how to jump rope,
it is just a hope that I don’t need all that
to cope . . Different styles, everyone smiles,
“hot pepper” “Stomp the Snake” “Baby
  Steps”- Stub yor toe and everyone yelps . .

A ’tisket-a-tasket’- Jump the rope basket . .
I crowd my mind with these goofy little
diddies- Twice now you fall, “no more jumping
In the Hall!” Get out of here kids- Take it to the mall . .
